Cristina Obae is a highly skilled teacher trainer, with extensive experience in curriculum building and technology integration in education. Having a PhD from the University of Bordeaux, France, a second masters in Educational Leadership in Finland , working on a 2nd doctoral research on adapting higher education curricula to metaverse learning environment, she was a member of the European Commission initiated project European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) AI Squad and actively contributed to the AI report published in 2023 by the European Union Publication Office. She is works as Manager for metaverse aviation course NEdHo Aviation SRL, Romania. She is the leader of the EDEH Hybrid Learning Spaces Squad and founder of the startup New Education Horizons (NEdHo) which offers mentoring for XR integration in education.
